NBA 2K19 is a professional basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. The game was released for mobile devices on August 24, 2018 and can be downloaded from both Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
Gameplay walkthrough
The gameplay of NBA 2K21 revolves around playing NBA games with real-life or customized players and teams. As in previous games in its series, NBA 2K21 strives to emulate the experience of a real-life game of basketball; thus, players must play through four quarters (each lasting five minutes) with five players per team on their roster as well as halftime periods that occur during gameplay.
Players are able to control their teammates using basic button presses while they are near them on court. Players may also call plays using virtual buttons displayed near each teammate’s portrait when they have possession of the ball. During any period, players may pause gameplay to make substitutions or check/change strategies.
However, unlike other basketball video games such as NBA Live 18, there is no option to assign specific roles like point guard or center to specific teammates. Instead, players are given one of three archetypes based on their position: Playmaker (Point Guard), Sharpshooter (Shooting Guard), and Enforcer (Small Forward).
Each archetype determines how your teammates behave during gameplay. For example, if you choose a sharpshooting small forward, then all small forwards on your team will focus more on scoring than setting up teammates. If you choose an enforcer small forward, then all small forwards will focus more on rebounding than scoring. Similarly, choosing a playmaking point guard will cause all point guards to exhibit similar behaviors. Additionally, certain teammates have special abilities which can influence gameplay.
For example, LeBron James has a special ability called King which allows him to get stronger as he accumulates points throughout a game. Furthermore, some players have signature moves which allow them to perform powerful dunks or shots after building up enough momentum through regular gameplay.
Signature moves require stamina points in order to use them; once used, these moves cannot be used again until stamina points are replenished over time. In addition to single player modes, NBA 2K19 offers multiplayer modes where players compete against others online. In MyPark mode, users can create custom courts and challenge others to games. In Pro-Am mode, users create custom teams made up of real life pro athletes and challenge others online.
The game received generally favorable reviews according to review aggregator Metacritic.
Download Game Data Files
